One sketch = a layout and a card

I created the sketch above after I made the layout below:
I figured I could use the sketch to create a card too and this is the card I made using the same sketch (and the same collection of papers):

B-Dash from Imaginisce ... so colourful!

It has been way too long since I showed you some of the things I have created for Scrap'n'Craft with T! I have made the 'jar in a gift' (Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix) and the two birthday cards below with the 'Birthday Bash Collection' from Imaginisce: I love the colourful papers and the many different patterns. I made two birthday cards with these papers, which can be used for boys, girls, men and women. So handy to have a few ready for when you need it!

Step-by-step instructions for the card with all the squares can be found HERE. Instructions for the card below can be found HERE. Last but not least ... instructions for the 'Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix in a jar' (including the recipe) can be found HERE ! Have a wonderful weekend!

The big news you have been waiting for ....

Ria, who started the Scrappassion Challenge Blog a few years ago has always dreamed about organizing a big scrapbooking event. Last September the Design Team and Ria decided to organize a Pink Ribbon Event combined with scrapbooking. Since we are all women and most of us know at least one woman who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, we decided to do whatever we can to create more awareness and money for this special cause.

So ... all the Dutch and Belgian girls ... please get your diaries out and mark SUNDAY 2nd of OCTOBER, 2011. This is the day that we are organizing a big PINK RIBBON Event ! There will be workshops, a gorgeous accomodation, great lunch, a goodie bag, a Make & Take, shopping opportunities at two different scrapbooking shops and a raffle with massive prizes! All profits will go to Pink Ribbon.

Ria created a special blog about this event. Please click HERE to read more. Unfortunately this blog is in Dutch only, since we only expect Dutch-speaking ladies there. But ... if you are from another country and you would like to participate too, please feel free to email ME for more information! You would be most welcome!

And please, if you know of anyone who might be interested in going, please send her THIS LINK to get more information. We'd love to have many, many ladies there!

New month; new challenge at Scrappassion !

The first month of 2011 is officially gone! Wow, am I the only one who just put the Christmas tree away ;-) ? Anyway ... a new month means a new challenge at Scrappassion.

Click HERE if you are from The Netherlands or Belgium to read all about the challenge in Dutch and to see the work of the Dutch Design Team. Please click HERE to go to the International Blog if you'd like to read it all in English. Since I have more international visitors the information on my blog will always be in English!

Last month the International Scrappassion Blog started and we were overwhelmed by the many gorgeous entries we received. This month's challenge will be:

ALTER A JAR [not a bottle, but a JAR!]

You can decide for yourself how you will decorate the jar. Maybe our International DT will inspire you with their work:
