'Creative Team' of Scrappassion Challenge Blog

I made this layout for a challenge at 'De Scrapheap'. I used a picture of the Creative Team of Scrappassion. We met for the first time a few weeks ago and I wanted to scrap the picture of that day. It was wonderful to meet the ladies in real life and I had a great time scrapping and chatting with them!

Working Together; a granddad and three of his grandchildren ...

I made this layout for a challenge at De Scrapheap. I challenged myself to only use papers and possibly embellishments that are five years old (or more). Well ... I did manage to use some of my very old and dusty papers and I even used a Sizzix die (the puzzle shape), which I bought at least five years ago too. The alphabet title and ticket are not that old, but hey ... at least I tried to use up some of my stash, now didn't I?

Some more pages of my 'Year in Review' project ...

The themes for the last two weeks were: 'Chocolate' and 'World Cup Soccer'. Well ... since I truly don't care for chocolate much, I made a layout about a movie I saw almost ten years ago, called 'Chocolat'. I love that movie! And ... World Cup Soccer, well ... that was easy; everyone here in the Netherlands seems to think we are already the World Champions, there is orange everywhere!
This is what my 'Year in Review' spinner looks like right now. Obviously there are still about six more months to come, but it is already a nice collection of things that we did in 2010!

'Sweet individual' ...

I made this layout for Scrap 'N' Craft with T. I wanted to use the chipboard title 'Sweet Individual' and that suits our son Rick very well. He's our most quiet child, but when he speaks he will either make you laugh or touch your heart; truly a sweet heart! For step by step instructions, click HERE.

World Championship Soccer and some family photos ...

Well ... the World Championsip Soccer has started! Today was the first time the Netherlands had to play. The game was on in the afternoon and all the students were asked to dress in orange. We watched the game on the Smartboard in the classroom. This is what my class looked like after the Netherlands got their second goal:

I'd never seen a white spider until today ...

Whilst living in Australia, we have seen many, many black and hairy huntsman spiders. I am not terrified of spiders, but I cannot say I am a big fan of them either ... Especially if they look like this:

But ... today I noticed this little spider in our garden. Completely white and so tiny! I never thought I'd ever say this, but this little spider looked kind of cute:
